Challenge of the 21st Century: Setting the Real Bottomline
Join Dr. David Suzuki,
noted author, award-winning scientist, environmentalist
and television series producer and broadcaster at the
Opening Plenary Session on Wednesday. He will discuss
how our collective “ecological footprint” now exceeds
nature’s annual capacity to replenish renewable resources
and how to find solutions to our destructive practices.
The author of more than 30 books,
Dr. Suzuki is recognized as a world leader in sustainable
ecology and the recipient of UNESCO’s Kalinga Prize for Science, the United Nations Environment
